Featured Creatures: Scaly Derps

Today’s feature is a gallery of reptiles and amphibians that I contributed to a really cool project last year. Check it out.

Last year I had the opportunity to be involved with a really fun project that was also for a good cause. Author Jessica Lee Anderson came up with the idea to put together a photo book of funny reptiles and amphibians whose proceeds would benefit the Louisiana Exotic Animal Resource Network, a herpetology-based rescue that is dedicated to both wildlife and educational outreach.

The ABCs of Derpetology came out amazing and is chock-full of images contributed by various keepers and enthusiasts of reptiles and amphibians. Nine of my photos were selected, which I have assembled into the linked Derp Gallery. These photos make me smile. I hope you will, too.
