Welp, I fell off the internet again. It’s tough not to when the real world is so interesting. As those who have been on my mailing list for a while have seen, though, I always eventually make my way back.

For those who are newer to my slice of the virtual world, exploring and documenting nature has been a passion project of mine for over a decade. After the first couple of years, I began to focus more seriously on photography itself, eventually expanding into sport photography- particularly martial arts- and portraiture as well. Yet life got complicated and busy, as always, and passion projects always fall first.
This time there were two instances that re-lit the fire. Earlier in the month I received a licensing offer for a handful of my stock photos, the new uploads of which having previously been put on hold along with the website in favor of other projects; then I was also invited to sell prints at a festival.

The booth was a last-minute decision, but I went for it. Not only was the day great, but I was reminded that the same thing applies to my community: One friend lent me a canopy to use, and another helped me with the planning and organizing while I worked double shifts at my other jobs every day between the decision and the festival itself- not to mention helping run the booth. Other friends helped with setup and tear-down. What may have been haphazard became surprisingly polished with all of their assistance.

So here I am again, freshly motivated and full of new images and stories to share. Welcome back and buckle up. There’s a whole lot of world out there to see.
